How does the father and mother differ as parents

It is true that father and mothers have differences in raising their children. This can be beneficial but can also be confusing to the children as they might be confused.

Mothers tend to show more care and empathy as they take care and raise their children while fathers are inclined to be less showy on their feelings but more on specific actions. Mothers are more compassionate compared to the fathers.

Fathers teach their children hands-on, play more and spend more time with their children while mothers tend to talk to their children, ask questions, and explain things to them. Fathers do not talk much as mothers do.

It is true that in rearing children, patience is required from the parents. Mothers tend to be more patient and give more chances when the child commit mistakes compared to fathers. Usually, fathers discipline their children by giving punishments than mothers. When children cry and get hurt, the mother show more compassion and patience.

Mothers normally talk more seriously with the children but the fathers usually joke and tease their children. The father is less predictable in the eyes of the children while they usually know or predict how their mother will react on certain issues and concerns.

Fathers teach their children survival and problem-solving skills while mothers teach their children on emotional and relational skills. Mothers talks to children than the fathers, show more consideration and concern for others which the children learn later. These skills learned from both parents are essential in helping them to grow equipped with important skills and abilities in life.
